Colombian coffee has come a long way since the early days of Juan Valdez and co. Back then, coffee was dark roasted and usually pre-ground. This was done to hide the off flavours of poorly produced and cared for coffee. Coffee was just coffee, right?
Now that the world has been introduced to great coffee, producers in Colombia began to work extremely hard to produce the best cups of coffee available. Through improvements to their processing, farmer knowledge, and a commitment to improving their product, Colombian farmers have become some of the best the world over. We think Elver Muñoz is one of those farmers.
